A manager works to get their team members to do what did yesterday, but with more fastness and in an economical way. On the other hand, a leader knows, where would like to go but understands that can’t go there without the team, without giving the team the tools to make something happen.
The manager wants authority but the leader takes the responsibility.
We need both. But we have to be careful not to confuse them. It helps to remember that leaders are NOT abundant and thus more valuable. Am I right?
