Are you open to feedback?


Now, are you REALLY open for feedback?

Most people who say they are open to feedback or really not open to feedback. They like feedback that validates what they already know and believe in. If they get feedback that is not in line with what they already believe in they will typically “shoot the messenger” and move on.

Now, are you REALLY open for feedback?

  3. I agree with you. Feedback equals praise of course people are ready for it. Feedback equals constructive criticism, nope not at all. That is just too plain harsh for us to handle.

    There are two dimensions to feedback: support and challenge. The most constructive feedback is high on support and high on challenge.

    True, feedback is always required to be positive, if given to the person in the face, well …most of the times, that is. It takes courage to face negative feedback and what’s more, work on it too!

    sometimes feedback brings surprises!

    We think we score 100 in one area and will be shocked to receive less in the same area.. so its how we fulfill the other person need more than actually completing the task.
