… proud of ..

It is a given that you should be proud of working for the company you are working for. Otherwise, why work there?

What really matters is – “Is the company you are working for proud that you are working for them?”

I don’t know if large companies have such a corporate thought? I would suppose they only really care if you are productive enough or not.

Well, small companies sure are proud of when you work for them, because your work matters to them. With the large ones, the issue is there is no recognition to your experience or qualification, let alone your work, they only expect more and more out of you. These firms know that if you leave, it will not be tough to replace you with someone – for some more time because that someone will be proud to work for them! :D Very well written post Ganga!

Well I am suspicious concerning the fact that large corporate houses rarely recognize the performance of lower or mid level employee as soon as you are not hitting the revenue directly as indirectly we all do and individually I feel you should proud on the work you are doing and the way you are doing, this is what, really matters for myself.

You should all read GEETHA. Just do your work as a divine duty without expecting any results because they are not in your hands. Don’t be concerned with things outside your control. Develop DUE ATTACHMENT.

    Hi Murthy,
Thanks a lot for your comment on my blog.
    Well said.
As an individual I believe I am obligated to give my very best effort no matter what I’m doing. Whether it’s sitting down for a meal, attending to my duties at work or working out my salvation. I also understand that I’m only able to do this by God’s grace and with the support from people like you.

    Regards,
    Gangadhar
