Induction
Me bit my tongue while eating.Got soap in my eye while washing my face.Me could not get the key out of the lock in the front door.Someone hurt my feelings.Me tore the seat of the sofa while trying to move something.A representative in an organisation barked at me, over telephone when I asked a question.
My day was really crappy until …..i saw the incredible look on one lil girl’s face as she was about to eat her ice cream. Me just loved the wonderful look of sheer glee on the lil gal’s face as she took the first bite!
I was wallowing in my own self-pity today and seeing the joy of life on that lil gal’s face made me realize once again… that the world does not revolve around me.

I have been reading your blogs for a bit, I must say you are real good. How true, the world does not revolve round us-Sometimes I make a big deal about everything and want everyone to stop and stand by me…you really made me think atleast for a brief moment that it is always about me:)

So much truth here…Such days happen more than often…and sometimes you dont even get to see such lil girls then it becomes misearble.
It is usually like how much of a crappy day you have, but a smile on an innocent face brings back the smile on your face

Why, I disagree…
The world does indeed revolve around us – that’s the only way the world is for us… for there is only one life, and that is ours.
Simple.
You CHOSE to be cheered up by that look of glee on the little girl’s face, na? There you go! It does revolve around you, because that is the only way life can be…
Even if there are billions of other people in this world or not, the soul which is within our body only knows our body, and nowhere else.
By this, I’m not saying everything has to be like you want it to be (the ‘traditional’ sense of the phrase: the world revolves around oneself), but that there is, and can ever only be, a world through your own eyes.
No matter how many other people whose happiness you may live for, at the end of the day, it is your heart that will place the smile on your face. And your heart, quite frankly, is rightfully a greedy thing – it only cares for what you care for – which revolves around you.
Jeesh, that will either make PERFECT sense to you or NO sense at all…! lol…

@Ganga… how do I strengthen your point? I guess I do, in the sense that it is up to YOU to decide that the world does not revolve around you, but then again… even as you’re doing that, isn’t the world revolving around you? and thanks!

I have lost the connection at my home for like 3 weeks now and life is so suffocating without it as it is I am addictred to the internet since I was in 2nd grade and that has caused a lot of problems until lately when I have learnt how to balance between my life as it is rapidly changing nowadays after like 8 years of monotonous bullshit.
Day before yesterday I woke up late so my plans to go cycling were ruined, yeah I know I get depressed at SUCH SILLY THINGS and so I don’t know why I was feeling quite low, because of that 3 hour more sleep my whole day’s plan was ruined to ashes, I didn’t study shit for my science II practricles as my mind was too preoccupied with certain things I will get out soon. FOr a change of mood went to buy a new watch and found an awesome one which mathces the new bands I bought, LOL. Then went for the test and saw all of my friends in the same batch as we all were going for Spice 2006 (Annual DJ Night) and for some reason the test went awesome (I didn’t copy though) and then I just found my parents bought some good-looking hoodies (I love Hoodies), I wore them and went to the party, there I met hell lot of my online friends and one of them, speaking to her made my day! At the first I thought my whole day was bullshit but then the way it turned out, it was the best thing happening to me in these 3 weeks, LOL.
Yo0u should have got down, broght an ice cream and licked it like a school boy ; That wd have been fun and wd have changed your mood totally.
Well, as I don’t have net, I have not been able to contribute to the forums of my hosting server and I have lost credits, I am running on -24 and I need to get it to +4 to get my blog activated again.
Sad, but true.
